2.1 Dengue-related data

Dengue-related data were obtained from the Weekly Epidemiological Reports published by the Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka. These data are available in a tidy format through the [denguedatahub](https://denguedatahub.netlify.app) package. In addition, Ministry of Health (MOH) area related data were sourced from the National Dengue Control Unit. 

2.2 Population data

Population data were obtained from the Department of Census and Statistics, based on the 2024 Census.
